About SWIFT
SWIFT is a global member-owned cooperative and the world’s leading provider of secure financial messaging services.
SWIFT’s messaging services are trusted and used by more than 11,000 financial institutions in more than 200 countries and territories around the world.
FIN is the longest established of all our messaging services. It enables the exchange of messages formatted with the traditional SWIFT MT standards. These standards cover a wide range of business areas and are widely used and accepted by the financial community.
FIN enables the exchange of messages on a message-per-message basis, and supports the exchange of proprietary formats between market infrastructures and their customers.
The SWIFT Parser
The SWIFT Document Processor (SDP) / SWIFT Parser Engine will parse a raw unstructured swift text (representing a SWIFT Document) as input and return a structured Document Object as output.
The SDP API returns Structured Data Object available in two formats:
- a Javascript Object Notation (JSON) object: available via an API
- a database object (table/view) that can be queried using standard SQL
An SDP Scheduler: retrieves new SWIFT documents from the SWIFT Alliance Server hosted with the financial institution automatically and parses this document into the SDP Database storage.
The parsed SWIFT documents will be then be uploaded into into the SDP Web Portal for management reporting
